In April 2009, Children's Hospital of Michigan began a program for children undergoing hemodialysis to tell about their lives through photography. Over the past two years this remarkable program has taken shape and Dr. Rudolph Valentini, Director of Dialysis Services and Vice Chief of Staff at the hospital, likens the insight gained from these images to a "virtual home visit".
