FACES AGAINST 4214: Protest Against New Emergency Financial Manager Legislation
On April 15th and 16th protestors rallied in Michigan’s capitol against HB 4214 – the Emergency Financial Manager Bill. People from all over the region came together on those two days in Lansing: welders, teachers, electricians, students, legislators, actors, writers, retirees, and many who have lost their jobs to the recession.

It was an exciting time to be a photojournalist in Prague. The Iron Curtain had fallen, a new democracy was forming, the old Czechoslovakia was preparing to split, massive reconstruction projects were getting off the ground and expats from all over the world were flooding in to experience "The Left Bank of the 90s". It seemed like there was a picture to be made around every corner - and there usually was.

Dún Laoghaire gets its name from the Irish translation Fort (Dún) of Laoghaire. It was once the seat of King Laoghaire, the ancient High King of Ireland before the Vikings sailed from Scandinavia and established themselves in Dublin. Today Dún Laoghaire is seaside tourist town and one of Ireland's major passenger ferry ports and yachting centers situated 13km (8 miles) S.E. of Dublin City Center.
